The research center has an independent laboratory, including microbiology laboratory, environmental technology room, oilfield chemistry room, and other laboratories. The research areas involve in three systems of environment, polymers and microorganisms. Among them, the environmental science room mainly directed to the treatment process, engineering design and optimization of various oilfield pollutants;Polymer synthesis room is committed to the development and modification of various types of oilfield chemical additives; and microorganism culture room mainly researches for biological harmless treatment of various oilfields wastes and culture and acclimation of bio-oil additives. The laboratory is equipped with UV spectrophotometer, portable oil tester and other advanced equipment, to complete measurement of turbidity, transparency, pH value, residues, mineralization, conductivity, acidity, COD, BOD, dissolved oxygen, viscosity, water biocenosis, water bacteriology, ammonia nitrogen, total nitrogen, and phosphorus.

There is a production center under the R & D center, including automatic control room and mechanical design room, which were responsible for research, design and production process of Aegis products equipment, and responsible for the technical support of field service operations and normal operation of all equipment. The research results of the Center mainly include: 30T/H fracturing flowback fluid handling equipment, 15T/H well-washing flowback fluid handling equipment, filtration equipment, microwave, ultrasound biomicroscopy, and ultraviolet integrated multi-purpose device.Aegis has a special warehouse to store production equipment and raw materials with an area of 1600 square meters.
