     Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry of Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute was founded in December 1948.      Jilin Agricultural University was created in 1948. For the past 49 years of oilfield"s exploitation and construction, Daqing Oilfield created "three first" in China"s petroleum industry: First in crude output with the accumulative crude production of 1.95 billion tons, accounting for more than 40% of national onshore crude oil production over the same period; first in paid taxation of profit for more than one trillion of all kinds of capitals, ranking on the top of "100 Tax-paying Enterprise"" for consecutive years since 2000; first in oil recovery rate, the main oil recovery rate has exceeded 50%, 10-15% higher than the domestic and foreign similar fields. In addition, since 1976, Daqing has gained a conspicuous reputation in China for maintaining 27 years of stable production with an annual yield of 50 million tons, creating a miracle in peer oilfields of the whole world.
